Methodology — how we built these numbers
Each tier total is what couples typically spend on lodging and on-the-ground daily expenses (food, transport, tours, spa) across a 7-night honeymoon in Mexico, in US dollars per couple. Numbers come from our destination research, partner hotel rates, and recent honeymoon traveller reports.
The split: lodging is approximately 60% of each tier total (the largest single line item on most honeymoons), and daily spend is the remaining 40% spread evenly across the 7 nights.
Flights are shown separately because they vary heavily by origin city and how far ahead you book. The flight estimate above is for a US-origin round-trip per person, doubled for the couple.
